1725 Park Ave

Overview

Rare offering- This well-documented home has been featured in many National Architectural & Fan District publications through the decades. Purchased by William Glavé in 1962, with an eye towards renovating, this home would become the prototype for modern urban living in Richmond and might be the birthplace of Modern Fan District living. Current owners lovingly performed a full home renovation in 2017, which included new hardwood floors on the entire first floor, new HVAC (3 zones), full kitchen remodel and the addition of a fourth bedroom; all while thoughtfully linking these updates with those of Glavé's original vision. This home features architectural delights at every turn to include custom ceilings bathed in glorious light, a three story spiral staircase encased in glass, luxury master bedroom with custom cabinetry and en suite bath, hand crafted tiled fireplace in the office, cleverly designed bedroom with Murphy bed, and a bright laundry room with pass through linen closet. The natural light throughout is remarkable. Too many features to list. This is a special home - set up your private showing today!
